About Sharon.
Sharon Ann Rowland was born in Southampton, England, and immigrated to Australia with her family in 1982. She found the transition between the two countries overwhelming and found herself turning to literature and writing to escape the harsh realities of adjusting to a new country and its people. In 2012 Sharon's science-fiction book series called 'The Crystal Channelers' was published and featured later that year at the London Book Expo.
Prompted by her publishers to generate a blog off her website, Sharon decided to write each day (except Sunday) in the voice of her major characters from the novels - this led to her research a number of obscure and supernatural events, people and information due to the gifts of each character. The Oddities e-Club Magazine Newsletter was born late 2012 and became an overnight success garnering over 72,000 subscribers. In early 2014 Sharon was approached by the Magloft team to be a beta magazine on their APP - and the rest as they say is history. Prior to writing her novels Sharon had a successful career within the IT industry which spanned two decades, working for a number of Australia's top 500 companies. In 2008, when her health prompted her to take time out from consulting, she decided it was time to stop talking about writing her novels and to actually do it. Ten years on, Sharon is now joyfully employed, with four completed novels, a play, a ground-breaking magazine to her name, a world-wide supernatural radio-show (and soon to be podcast), all reflecting her love of her adopted country, Australia and the supernatural world we all reside within.
